The 2016 election did not go as I expected.

The day after the vote was tallied, I was in a fog. I was sad, angry, confused... I couldn't believe where we as a country had decided to go.

Up until this point in my life, I had considered myself to be what I can only describe as, an "armchair activist".
I was always supportive of positive change in our community, but... from the comfort of my own living room.
I had never marched.
I had never held a sign or rallied amongst 10, let alone 10,000.
I had never tried to speak with my Representatives or Senators.
I had never gone out of my way to BE the change.

I knew, once the vote was in, that we as a country have a LOT of work to do to be better than what I was seeing on TV and in our communities and on our social media.

Working in the travel industry for 12 years has given me the experience necessary to plan a trip and work out logistics.
Thinking of all the important things we need, but don't always remember when we travel, is a specialty of mine.

This is my gift.
THIS is how I can protest.

And... if I can help inspire others the way I've been inspired, then that would be a blessing beyond anything I can imagine.

So, I started putting together a trip to DC for the Women's March. Since I was new to advocacy, and had lots to learn, I thought perhaps, that I wasn't alone.

Offering workshops and speakers, meals and transportation,

This is more than a bus ride.
